As someone who comes from a traditional Mexican household and grew up navigating the struggles many immigrant Latino families face—working multiple jobs, living in fear of deportation, and having limited access to healthcare—I understand what it means to start from survival mode. These lived experiences shaped my path and fueled my determination to pursue higher education, earning both a B.A. and an M.B.A. within six years.
